Everlasting was written in 2016 and finally recorded in 2022 in Nashville, TN.

"God laid the words of Everlasting on my heart in my bedroom back home a couple months after graduating college and I wrote the song in a day. The inspiration for this song is a child named Tamirat that I have been blessed to sponsor through Compassion International for now 8 years. 

 

Psalm 40:1 says the Lord turns to us and hears our cry, lifts us out of the slimy pit and puts our feet on solid ground. Each and every one of us is important to God, and His love is truly everlasting. The moment we call on His Name and place our trust in Him, is the moment we are carried out of the pit and placed on solid ground. He wipes the dust from our feet, He opens our eyes to see and experience the grace and mercy He extends on our lives.
